Back to NY would be a possibility even though Wilson is playing good.
Jacobs will sell that 49er playbook to the highest bidder now... great.
Giants give him 10 Dollars boom![]()

I dont think Jacobs will be back in with the Giants. He left NY on really bad terms and the Media killed him here.

I think bad karma comes back to haunt 49ers on this one.
Why sign the guy if you dont plan on playing him? His sole reason to leave giants was playing time. While I understand the strategy and have no disagreements with it I do think not paying him will come back to haunt them
He had to know he wasn't going to see alot of playing time. Gore and Hunter (when healthy) were clearly better than him period. We signed him for depth since Gore has had a history of getting nicked up. To be honest, in his few snaps he's looked far from impressive, still dancing around when he could just plow forward on short yardage downs.

Not really. Niners offered him a few hundred thousand more and he chased it. Giants wanted him back but knew of the health issues and didn't want to pay a lot.
Team likes him and he likes the team. At this point Giants are real thin at RB and its an offensive system where experience means more than anything.
BUT Giants signed Lumpkin and Torain last week so its not likely from a money standpoint unless they wanna get out of the Torain deal.
Jacobs is a ***** if he would have put as much work in on the practice field as he has complaining on social media he would have been on the field
Jacobs was actually SUSPENDED the last 3 games, not released or cut. he basically will remain with the 49ers and wont be able to sign with another team... sorry Giants.
he will appeal and win. I can see the Giants signing him barring having to eat the Torrain or Lumpkin money
