I would feel the same as an Eagles fan. Distressed, cheated, and violated. Tired of hearing the same empty promises, tired of being a laughing stock of the league, marching out superior talent with sub par results. I would probably flip into deep depression.

Right. The Warriors are moving to SF because the market is so much better in Oaktown. Try again. San Jose is a very big deal, but SF is significantly more symbolic, historic, and appealing to multiple demographics.

It really isn't something to quarrel over anyway. Why can't there just be love?

Getting Kershaw locked up is more nerve racking than anything else.

I'd be excited, but you have to think there are much better things to spend half a billion dollars on than Beckett, Gonzalez, Crawford, Greinke, and Ramirez.

Same thing I always felt when you look at the Yankees. They become favorites because of the sheer payroll they have, but imagine if they ever efficiently spent the money they have...you would be looking at 130 win teams.

Ironically the team I could see stealing him away is the Rangers. Obviously the Dodgers will give him a blank check, but he's from Texas and you never know how those things work on a player

I'd rather not. I'll just be optimistic.

The Dodgers have a very good team on paper and should win a lot of games. I just wonder, with all the stars on this team, if Mattingly can manage all the egos. Don't get me wrong, ego is a great thing for a professional athlete to have. I just think that with this amount of talent you need someone on the bench like Torre or LaRussa who have lead talent rich teams to championships. Titles are hard to win. Even if your team is loaded.

I'd be afraid of the big bad Giants winning 100 games for the next 5 years with 5 World Championships.
