Which league is better right now...NL or AL?

NL has won the World Series in 4 of the last 5 years, but many still view the AL as the better, more dominant league.

I personally think its very close right now, but I give the slight edge to the NL.

    What does everyone else think?

    Poll is attached.

Try to be unbiased if at all possible.

The only true indicator IMO of the strength of a league as a whole is the combined interleague record. And the AL has been superior for years.

and how much of that is because of the DH vs pitchers hitting?

Now that Interleague is expanding, IMO, they really have to have common ground between the 2 leagues: either nobody has the DH or everyone has the DH...and despite being a lifelong NL fan, everyone having the DH is the only feasible plan...

some of the AL lineups have better hitters batting 9th than some NL lineups have batting 2/6/7/8/9...

Interleague isn't expanding that much(from 18 to 20 games IIRC). It's just scheduled differently.

The AL also has a better record at NL parks, but I can't find the stats for that right now.

The Astros are going to be an AL Power House!
The M's and Astros will have their own division race not to be last.

The AL has been dominate for so long but recent history the NL has been better.

The NL have been winning the games that matter of late, thats ill i care about i say the NL but its pretty even. i think the top teams in the NL have been better than the top teams in the AL lately though.

not really a fiar assement. the astors are still an NL team just playing in the AL. you cant expect them to adjust in one year adding the DH. NL teams are built different than AL ones, you cant fix that over night
