You could ask the posters in the Dodgers forum
The general consensus is "B", but they have a lot of talent and money doesn't appear to be an issue so...
Idk, i mean they are spending money like it grows on trees....
I would say both.
never would i want my fav team to spend 147 million dollars on a pitcher, especially since he's not even in the top 5

Id be so excited, if they have that kinda money to throw around then go ahead and buy the best talent in the league.
Of course not being a Dodgers fan im pissed
It's World Series or bust for them.
I'd be pretty goddamn nervous.
It ain't my money. Spend it how ever they want. Just give me a championship!!
STRAIGHT CASH HOMIE!
I would be all nostalgic about what great owners the McCourts were & wish that you could turn back the clock so that the McCourts didn't have to leave their loyal fans...
just kidding...The Dodgers owners are loaded, LA loves a winner, and there is a lot of money to be made off of that team by pulling a "Yankees" style ownership...Magic and Kasten have been part of winning organizations with the Lakers and Atlanta franchises; they know how to win and probably don't like the taste of losing any more than George Steinbrenner did...
As a Dodger fan, I picked "B". Then again, I generally take a pessimistic outlook on most things.
The Runnin' Rebels are back!!!!
UNLV Class of '14
LA Kings: 27-16-5 (4-2, 4-3, 1-4)
LA Clippers: 56-26 (2-4)
UNLV Runnin' Rebels:
LA Dodgers: 33-42
Option 1. They seem to be going all in this off-season. Good time to be a Dodgers fan.
With the deepest of regrets I am announcing that I will be leaving Pro Sports Daily. No reason in particular but wanted to thank everyone for a great 6 years here. Lots of great discussion and good poll series as well. Also fun re-drafts. Best of luck to you all in the future.
They are making sooo much money from their TV deal every contract on this team now has no affect on them. All of these players will bring in tons of money plus the big tv deal.....This team has now reached the "Yankee" plateau.
If it's successful. There is a lot of risk being taken on if these deals do not work out for the Dodgers.
As a fan, you have to enjoy that the new ownership group is committing to making the team better. But there is plenty of risk, as we have seen plenty of teams load up in free agency before and it not work out.
Of course, the Dodgers are not just loading up on free agency, but taking on contracts in trades. But it's essentially the same thing.
