The defending champions are always the team to beat.

This team will have a very good shot at knocking them off though.

@Dodgers: It's official! Zack Greinke is your newest Los Angeles Dodger! http://t.co/uZZ6TLMv. Now I think Ned will start filling in the dept on the bench and maybe sign a infield starter. Here comes the Dodgers NL West.

Good to read lots of people are not buying into the hype that is the dodgers and need to WIN IT on the field and not paper.

    #25 Coincidence?

Is it a coincidence that Carl Crawford will be wearing #25 next season?

It is vital, that this team is healthy. We have to stay healthy. If not, than I'm not sure how we stay afloat.

I can honestly say, this is the most excited I've been in a long time for the Boys in Blue. Come together, stay healthy, and let's just have some fun. Bullpen has to remain intact. The Giants are still the best team in the West, and easily top 3 in the NL. Just cause they're the Defending champs. They did a great job to earn that Ship.

Now it's our turn. Which I believe we can do. Just have to grind it out and fight.

Its a good start by signing some pitching. It helps!

You guys need to calm down, though, with the "HIGH EXPECTATIONS". A thread such as this is only gonna let you down later.

Lakers loosing is fine, i'm still a fan. I still watch the Dodgers and we've been loosing for over 24 yrs. Oh, yeah! I'm ignorant too, lol
Ignorant and one hell of a speller.

SF will b the team to beat. But I think the Dodgers are expected to win the division. The people that say SF is the team to beat in west, will be the same people saying the Dodgers choked if they don't win the west.

My question is: Who do we bat lead off to get on base ahead of the power bats? Gordon would be ideal, however, he will not be starting, which leaves Mark Ellis? Carl Crawford? Any thoughts?

You can only choke if you are ahead towards the end of the season and end up blowing it.
Which this team has shown it is more than capable of doing.
