What does the phrase even mean???? Can we please cease with this vacuum phrase. It does not apply to us. WE are not a good team....PERIOD!!!! Accept we are a BAD TEAM and jst enjoy WINS when they come.

It takes years sometimes to build a championship team. Wait your time.....THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG OVERHAUL. Not our YEAR. Just enjoy the basketball.

Second, you don't hit the panic button when 40% of your starting line-up and 33% of your best nine players are not playing.

Third, nothing is going to be done until the team gets healthy and sees where it's at. And even then I don't see a big move before the trade deadline.

But if it makes you feel better to freak out, I think you've made a consistent case here that nobody is ever going to be able to stop you.
The only issue though GG is that we play in the western conference. If we were in the east, it wouldn't be as big of an issue. But if we dig ourselves into a big hole, we're screwed. I agree, it's too early to hit the panic button, but if this continues over the next 10 games, it's absolutely time to do something. This team has to be competitive this year, otherwise Dwight walks. A deep playoff run should be enough to keep him around, but a first round exit won't be. I honestly don't blame him for leaving if we suck that bad. For him to leave 25 mill on the table + a big market for a smaller market just shows how much in the **** this season had been.

Still to early I agree. But it needs to get fixed. The west is way too talented

By all star break they could very well be 6 or 7 games out of the playoffs.

because by All Star break, all 8 playoff teams have already clinched playoff berth?
List of negative Lakers fans to watch out for this upcoming season on these forums. Even with Steve Nash or D12, they'd find something to complain about:

The panic button for me was hit when D'Antoni was hired.. Did anyone in this place actually think that this team was going to get better defensively when he was hired..?? Honestly.. ?? Again wrong guy to hire with the pieces this team had in place... Anyone thinking that he was just going to be able to come in and start moving enough pieces around after Brown had already done his damage is absolutely delusional, the Lakers are reaping what sow presently and I personally don't think this would be a topic we are discussing if they had just done the right thing and hired Phillip in the first place.. Just my opinion anyways..

Lol. If this team is 7 games out of the playoffs by all.star break, they're not making the playoffs. They're not just gonna "turn it on" and win 16 of 17. This team will improve a bit when Nash returns but for the most part they are what they've been.

Step away from the panic button....

Gasol WILL be moved! He(Gasol) has not been of any help to the team so far this season. This tendonitus thing with his knees is a smoke screen for whats really going on. They sit Pau to avoid risking injury on top of his delicate emotions.

Meanwhile, the lakers are using the time to see who works with whom. Pau is as good as gone boys and girls. And I'll say it once more. The trade sending him on his way will come just as suddenly & out of nowhere as the trade that brought him here. As he cometh, he goeth....

Management is weighing offers to see what fits best. We have time fellas. Glory isn't in the regular season. So patience is needed children...we got this.
