    Yeah if this wasn't KC people would not be crying rape. I think i's a pretty good deal for both right now not knowing all the details. James Shields is a legit number 1-2 starter in this league and Davis is another decent Starter. Probably going to be nice for TB down the road but for next year Shields will be worth a hell of a lot more than Myers and with Boston and NYY not there usual power house team this is a good time for TB to go for it.

    if the royals goal is to win right now then the trade makes sense. the thing is people can never imagine that being a goal for a royals team so its seen as horrible. im sure the rays saw what the blue jays did and said lets just take the high price and run
