Angels sign Josh Hamilton to a five-year, $125M deal

Interesting, I bet it is Anibal Sanchez. After losing out on Greinke, I bet they want to upgrade the rotation.

    I'm thinking 5 year 75 mill.

It'll be Josh Hamilton. This was my guess like a month ago. I'm guessing Moreno is loving the idea of having Trout, Pujols and Hamilton in the same lineup.

    Would have to think Hamilton.

4/100 or 5/125 is my guess.

Though Sanchez would fill a need as well.

I will never forgive Hamilton if he signs with the Angles.

If it's Hamilton, we know the Rangers supposedly get the last say. That means the offer will presumably be some kind of crazy.

I still believe it's not Hamilton. Doesn't make sense. They need pitching. I'm guessing Sanchez.

Makes sense that it could be media manipulation to try to raise the price on the Rangers

    Makes no sense signing Hamiltion.

Why would they go after him and not Greinke?

    That would be sick.

    Cabrera > Pujols
    Fielder < Hamilton

I would guess Hamilton at this point, the way they abandoned their rotation (sort of) is peculiar though.

    Gotta think Hamilton or Sanchez.

But then what do the Rangers do?

Why? The Rangers tried to do everything they could to get somebody else. First they wanted Greinke instead and then they wanted Upton. Hamilton was a last resort, and Im sure he figured it out.
