Calvin is on the verge of breaking the single season recieving record, is very capable of hitting 2000 yards, and is about to be the first player in NFL history to have back to back 1600 yard seasons(Only two other players have even had back to back 1500 yard seasons(albeit Jerry rice had a 1499 yard season that would have bridged a gap to give him 3 straight 1500 yard seasons)), yet you don't think he's going to go down as an all-time great WR?

    Seriously?

I mean I understand if you think AP is better, that's reasonable, but to say Calvin isn't on pace to become an all-time great is absurd.

Not to mention right now there is no other threat on his offense to support him, Barryv2.0.

    He was.

AP has improved his all-around game significantly. I said MJD was better than AP too. He was then as well.

you obviously know alot about football, but on this issue, i respectfully disagree.

IMO, at no time, was MJD, or deangelo williams better then adrian peterson.

of course, its a matter of opinion to a certain extent.

Well what you fail to understand is this -

Calvin has battled FOUR serious injuries DURING the season.

He had nerve damage in his arm making it hard for him to catch balls(he had a three game stretch with multiple drops when this happened, which put him towards the top of the league in drops)

That was the major one, but other than that he had ankle, knee, leg, and thumb injuries this year.

To think he put up 1300 yards with all that going on, let alone 1500 yards 13 games in is nothing short of unbelievable.

I like Calvin better. But it honestly doesn't matter, they're both insane athletes.

none as serious as an ACL tear, especially when adrian peterosn comes back as the best back in the NFL 6 MONTHS after tearing it. what AD is doing right now is utterly absurd. calvin johnson ahs not has 4 serious injuries compoared to an ACL
