Larry won't ask for a trade, John Skelton might.
Skelton could net us a future 7th round pick.
I'm not sure who laughed you out of the forum, but I would jump on a 3rd rounder for Flynn. TBO, unless we can actually showcase him in a game where he does well in he has zero trade value. He is still looked as a back-up around the league, and his contract isn't club friendly as a back-up. His best chance for a starting job is to ask for his release, and I could see it where Carroll would grant it since we have Wilson since Carroll is a players coach. Would mean that we need to draft a back-up QB or and maybe a project QB whom we can groom to be another viable back-up down the road also.
As to Flynn being Kolb 2.0, if you think Rogers is a good talent evaluator he thinks thant Flynn is a top 15 QB in the league. He could be right, Flynn didn't exactly lose the starting job in Seattle, more than Wilson just blew everyone away. You couldn't help but to start the kid.
Granted part of it was the fact I was saying GB would franchise him so that would be big money year one. But when I said 3rd they thought it was a joke.
Now he's guaranteed money still and they talk about a 1st all the time.
Rodgers loves everyone btw. He just said our 3rd string RB off our PS is going to be very special this week lol.
I posted 50,000 times on PSD and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.

So someone laughed at you because you thought we should have traded GB a 3rd rounder last year? Yea thats not going to fly. He's not worth a 3rd rounder last year and he is not worth that this year. I know us Hawks fans say we want a 1st rounder, but I don't think there are too many AZ Cardinals out there. I would be happy to see a 4th coming back my way, but honestly, I am thinking we are going to keep him or cut him if we find a legit back-up for cheaper.
