hopefully smith plays next week for BAL. They have been struggling and need a win to get some swag back.

This is assuming we win out, of course.

Essentially we need either the Giants or Skins to lose one more game and we're in (provided we win out).

Yes, I know the Vikings get in if they win out but I don't see that happening with their schedule and the same for the 'Boys.

The Vikings have to beat the Texans & the Packers, and we need to beat the Cards & Lions. I like our chances.

Watched most of the Lions-Cards game. If the Bears lose to either of those horseshit teams, it's time to tear the whole thing down.

    Here's what I'm expecting:

    Bears 2-0
    @ Cards W
    @ Lions W

    Skins 2-0
    @ Philly W
    vs. Dallas W

    Giants 1-1
    @Bal L
    vs. Philly W

    Seahawks 1-1
    vs. SF L
    vs. Rams W

    Dallas: 0-2
    vs. NO L
    @ Skins L

    Vikings 0-2
    @ Texans L
    vs. Packers L

If this plays out, then here are the playoff seedings:

    1. Atlanta
    2. San Fran
    3. GB
    4. Washington
    5. Seattle
    6. Bears

Obviously, a lot can happen in these two weeks, but every single game in the NFC East is hugely important to us. Especially the SNF game next week in Baltimore.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's against the rules for division opponents to match up against one another in the first round so we would play Washington. Or am I just making **** up?

    Wiki says:

There are no restrictions regarding teams from the same division matching up in any round.

Indeed, just a few seasons ago 2009 season, you had the boys play philly, I think it was back to back weeks, the same year the packers were ripped off vs the cards in a OT shoot out of a game.

Then several years ago, the vikings came into GB and Moss'ed the goal post.

Therefore there is still a chance for you guys to play the packers a third time if the packer stays at #3 seed.

OR a longshot, vikings could be looking at the same

My biggest worry is the Texans and Packers won't field there best teams.

Exactly. The starters will be on the field until they wrap up their bye.

    Realistic Wild Card Hunt Analysis

Plus just the fact of finishing strong. I feel kubiak won't sit starters

Houston still needs to make sure they win at least one more game to get the bye. If they drop the next 2 and the Pats win out they would fall to the #3 seed. I seem them going for the win this weekend againstthe Vikes.
