So it's basically 6/61 or about 10.1 M per yr.

I'm mostly curious how he is going to fit in.

    1. Will he start out in the majors or head to the minors at first? (probably depends on ST, but I would say he is seasoned enough probably to head straight to the majors)
    2. Will he be a starter at first, or in the pen?
    3. If he is a starter, what is their rotation now?

I'm not sure why you keep saying that, there's no indication of that, and I'm sure he has a major league contract.

They aren't going to pay a guy 61 M to start in AAA. Probably one of Harang or Capuano will be traded.

ryu gets $36M for 6 yrs. also has opt out after 5.
Can he just create about 5 WAR over the course of the deal?

Seems like a decent signing for the Dodgers. But that is what Chapman got. Is he better than Chapman?

I'd think Lilly and Cap both get dealt.

I'm guessing they might want a LH in between Greinke and Billingsley. Otherwise they could just do Billingsley 3rd and Ryu 4th.

Stop putting Beckett ahead of Billingsley in your rotations.

We have so many pitchers, even relievers. I haven't really seen him play and no one knows how we will do in MLB. At 6 years the team may not look at him as an immediate starter. Maybe he starts out coming out of the pen, but I think the team will still pursue Sanchez. Don't forget about Beckett. Kershaw, Grienke, Sanchez, Billinsgly and Beckett is likely the rotation the team has in mind IMO.
