    Pros and Cons: Week 14

    Here's the thread!!! Fire away!!!

    Pros:

    1) Rushing attack-- 42 carries, 166 yards and 2 TD's

    2) Wilkerson/Coples-- 2 sacks and a ton of pressure on Henne

    3) David Harris-- Huge day!!

    4) We got the win!!!

    Cons:

    1) Run defense-- 124 yards allowed and made Owens look like MJD

    2) Play calling-- passes short of 3rd down when needing a first.

    3) Sanchez-- Only 1 big play to Cumberland. Had a fumble and had less than 100 yards through 3 quarters.

If McElroy had the exact same game Sanchez had, it would have been a "pro" for his ability to manage the game according to everyone here. Sanchez's game was neither a pro nor a con. The fumble was bad, but the throw down the seam to Cumberland might have won us the game. Overall, he gets a "meh" for the game.

    Pros:
    1) Greene and Powell carried the offense
    2) Wilkerson and Coples created a lot of havoc on the offense
    3) The Special Teams didn't give up any big plays

    Cons:
    1) The rush defense is terrible
    2) Eric Smith is playing too much on defense
    3) Hill got hurt
    4) Giving up a 4th and 15 to the Jags at the end of the game
    5) Sanchez fumbled the ball and made only one play today (throw to Cumberland on 3rd down late in the game)
    6) Kerley fumbled the ball again

    Pros
    1. Running game looked good
    2. The defensive line is starting to put pressure on the QB's
    3. Mark Sanchez had a good game overall--No stupid decisions, and made a perfect throw with the game on the line.

    Cons
    1. Mark Sanchez had a good game overall--I was hoping for more from him in this game, but for the most part Sparano gave him a "don't lose" game plan. Sparano needs to understand that if you coach scared, you lose more often than you win.
    2. The K-Y Jets were at it again. Kerley and Sanchez each with a fumble.
    3. The defense still can't stop the run.

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.

    Cons: Jets won.

Chances are Jets are not making the playoffs and each win tells the team brass that the Jets are better than they really are. And of course we lose out on draft position.

Changes need to be made and beating the 2-11 Jaguars won't help.

Why are u such a Sanchez lover honestly? You know what the difference between Sanchez having this kind of day and McElroy? Sanchez in year 4, McElroy has never started. If McElroy put up those numbers it wouldn't be a let down. Stop just stop with the Sanchez crap, he's garbage bro. There's no denying it the kid sucks. Missing throws and wildly inconsistent.

You mad that Sanchez did exactly the same thing you were hoping McElroy would do?

Nope I'm pissed we keep letting our 4 year starter stink up the place when we have a 7th round pick that's better than him burried on the roster. It's impossible to be worse than Sanchez. He put up BS numbers on the worst D in the league. If it wasn't for that contract he would be long gone.

I am happy for a win I always am, but I'm confused why our QB is Sanchez. It actually blows my mind how he puts up the worst numbers against the WORST D in football. This game was honestly supposed to silence the critics for awhile (me included) but he failed to do that.

Bad luck continues: Rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill suffered a potentially serious knee injury in the second quarter. He slipped on damp grass and appeared to hyperextend his right knee. The TV replay wasn't pretty. Hill, grimacing in pain, pounded his first into the turf. An ACL injury would be a tremendous setback for Hill, who, despite his struggles, remains a big part of the Jets' future.

McElroy: 7th rounder making his first career start.

Sanchez: Top 5 pick, 4th year starter.

The expectations shouldn't be the same.
    Yankees - Jets - Rockets
