Ballpark is a good reason, but then Wrigley is a really nice park for any hitter and Fenway is pretty much a RH power bat's dream. Seattle's the outlier there.

ya just saw an aa interview on global and he said he wants one more reliever.
soriano would make our pen so legit haha.
i dont care about the dollars .. only thing i dont like is giving up a pick.
But he didn't reject trades to Cubs, Blue Jays, etc.
He has only four teams he can add to his no trade list so it makes sense to only add teams that have shown interest/have a need for his services whether he would willing to play for them or not so he would potentially have some leverage in negotiations. Sea obviously was one of those teams he wasn't willing to play for under any circumstances.
That doesn't mean the same holds true for BOS, TOR, etc.
Is a right handed hitter or a lefty upgrade on Lind not priority number one? you would think so. Also wouldn't cost a pick.

meh ... i think aa is more than comfortable going into the season with Lind. I dont like it, but it looks like thats the way its gonna be.
Look for AA to pick up a right handed hitter for the final bench spot, and maybe as a platoon for Lind.
I definately think if we are leading the division or in a race come trade deadline AA will go get a bat.
Had to be done! Go T-Rex

To make room for Blanco, #Bluejays DFA lefty Tommy Hottovy, who they claimed yesterday.
gonna try and sneak hottovy through waivers

How often does AA actually able to sneak people though waivers? He's leading the league in doing that so i'm sure he thinks it works for him.
