Prado will win, but maybe they will use this time to hammer out an extension.

I hope that's the case because is dumb going to an arbitration hearing for 400,000 with one of the most important and popular player on the team.

I like that we still have 10 mil to spend. I don't believe we make any more moves at this point, but it gives us the opportunity to cover whatever needs we have come July. If the Johnson/Francisco platoon doesn't work out or we have a significant injury, we are not handcuffed. We have room to address our needs.

Squads: Atlanta Braves, Seattle Seahawks, Portland Trailblazers, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Duke Blue Devils

With our current payroll, are we around $85 million?

That $10 MM Atlanta has left poses an intriguing dilemma... There isn't any FA or combination of FA's that Atlanta would want to sink that money in, so it comes down to two possibilities. Either a big acquisition at the Trade Deadline, or to possibly look at an extension for Heyward or Medlen... I've looked at what would be reasonable for both Heyward and the Braves and highlighted the terms of that deal at BravesBanter(see link in sig). Medlen might be a little trickier since there is only that brilliant second half of 2012 to base his potential salary as a Starter. Either way, I'd like to see some plan of action from Wren regarding those extra funds...

Definitely the weak point in an altogether strong squad. Would love to explore the costs associated with Headley (sp).

Aramis Ramirez could be a midseason target if the Brewers fall out of contention... owed $10 million in 2013 and $16 million in 2014 with a mutual option for 2015.... Juan Francisco as a starting point in trade talk?

Don't doubt that, just hope it's not on the cooking channel.
