When minutes matter, no. In a situation like tonights game, a guy who your team invested a #2 overall pick in should have played at least 10 minutes.

Even now, as we decided to sit all the starters up 19 points, Williams still doesnt come in with the subs.

Nice to see all the guys laughing and smiling on the bench right now. Its something we seemed to have going into this season, but has seemed to disappear recently. I know we have a bunch of stat lovers on this forum, and there isnt a stat for chemistry, but chemistry is definitely part of a winning ingredient, and not just chemistry on the court, but chemistry with each other personally.

Not much point with 2 minutes left. You risk injury when a guy is that cold and there's not much he can do in that time.

Also, this was just a game where we didn't have a safe lead nearly until the last few minutes - kept letting Cleveland make little runs.

Willimiam's not playing might be a bit of a message also that Rick is not going to be "pressured" by his agent about playing time. I still think Williams can play but this is big boy basketball and you have to bring it every night with the right attitude, effort and focus or you sit. That is why Rick is a good coach, bring it or sit.

His season has quietly improved with a more limited role. His PER is up to 14.1, he's averaging 9pts. 5rebs. & 1blk, and he is shooting 38% from downtown.
