Norris and Lind for morneau
Worst case for the jays he's a better lind making 2x the salary. Not great but I'd gamble on morneau bouncing back over Lind even with the money. If morneau regained close to what he was a few years back, he could be the piece to put he jays over the top.

“Just gobble, gobble, gobble, turkey from jive turkey gobblers”
Get Morneau on the Jays.
He had a remarkable '09 season but went straight downhill from there. Though his HR totals have been somewhat decent, he's just been atrocious in every other aspect of the game. He ****ing sucks!
I'd much rather take the gamble on Morneau bouncing back than having to sit through another season watching Lind get another 300+ AB's.

“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.” ~ Johnny Cash
Whoa whoa what? Rasmus for Morneau? hell no. Not a chance in hell.
You expect a stud pitching prospect back for a concussed Morneau? If that's the case, no team will meet your expectations. He's only got one year left on his deal which is appealing but it's still a lot of money for a guy who's a platoon hitter right now. Morneau simply isn't the MVP hitter he once was and there's no doubt about that. Try Morneau for Lind. Two guys who need a fresh start. Both have one year left on their deals and have been struggling for a few years. It would also save the Twins a few million bucks. It's a roll of the dice for both teams and there's not much to lose given both guys can walk within a year.
Doesn't surprise me one bit that these rumors are swirling. Twins are in full rebuild mode. But, I absolutely doubt Mauer goes anywhere. He's from Minnesota, played for them his entire career, and he needs to stay there. He's a hometown boy. Morneau a little different story. I can see him being moved soon.
Thank you Mo! We will forever be grateful for your service to our team not only as a player, but as a person. A living legend. You will forever be in our hearts, and forever be the greatest of all time. Now go get them one last time, Sandman!

I wouldn't give up much for either any way, mauer can't catch and will need to dh or play first, and he just doesn't have the power to profile at either of those spots,
Morneau can't hit lefties at all any more, he is a 13 million dollar platoon.
