He will be collecting numbers from hot women for his teammates by the dugout.

Is there a link for this? Not even a week ago, there was a report out that someone in the front office said no way the Twins trade Mauer, because they view him as the face of the franchise, and trading him would put a bad image on them, as most casual fans watch for the hometown kid.

A lot of Twins fans who follow things closely have suggested we trade him, as we feel we need to commit to a rebuild. Same has been said for Morneau as well.

As for Mauer, he does have a full no trade clause, and he has it made in Minnesota. He lives close to his family, makes over 20 million a year, and is treated by the organization like Jesus. If Mauer were to go somewhere, Boston would be a perfect fit for him.

Bet on that piece of turd to be in the hospital for the entire season. And he should not come back until he can play 3B.

What's the market like for a former MVP who's now a 14M platoon bat with concussion-related issues? Really curious to see what gets offered for him.

As a Twin's fan Morneau has been great but we would have to do this in a heartbeat.

I beleive he will be dealt before the start of next season to either Toronto or Baltimore for one (or two) of thier young stud pitchers as we are trying to rebuild in that area and have some stud position players on the way soon.

Mauer is going no where as he is LOVED by the MN fans and would be a publicity disaster in mn. Baseball wise it may be something to consider but just is not happening.

I can see a deal where the Twins take on Lind along with a couple of low-end prospects for Morneau.
Was he not a silver sluggers a few yearsago? Lind that is

    Doubt Anthopoulos would do that.
