Lin and Harden will own the West within three years... especially with the rediculous amount of young talent and DP's that Houston has raked in. Right now they are a mid-level team. They are also the youngest team in the league. In three years they will be OKC on steroids.

Get off the glue nut Harden while good is nowhere near Durant and I'm not gonna compare Westbrook to Lin as for those draft picks we own 2 of your first rounders and a 2nd not to mention your first round pick from past draft. The Thunder don't have the Rockets' pick. They have Toronto's 1st round pick (2-way protected) and the Mavericks 1st round pick (highly protected).

The Rockets still have a strong combination of draft picks, young players and cap space to be very good in the near future. The fact that they are already playing at a high level is very encouraging given their relative inexperience.

OKC might not even get the Mavs pick until 2016 or something, given how heavily protected it is.

Both teams won. There is no clear hands down winner. Martin had no future in Houston and Lamb is no Harden. The picks might or might not pan out. The Rockets had an excess of rookies/picks before the trade. The Rockets wanted an impact level player and they got that in Harden. OKC hasn't missed a beat w/o him so I'm pretty sure they're happy with what they have as well.

You do need to work on creating coherent sentences though.

I love how you answer the question and then say the sentence is no coherent sometimes I think this site is about who is the better english major as opposed to who knows their sports ... and yes both teams did do well in the trade OKC just got so much more and I feel they won but to your point yes Houston had no use for Martin .. I'm sure you can find as many people who feel Houston won the trade as you can Oklahoma ... by "Oklahoma on steroids," he means "a good young team like Oklahoma who plays at a faster face." he was comparing the pace each team plays at...not which team is better. caaaaaaalm down. Thunder's the best team in the West. happy now?

I live in Western Canada and if u look at my sig I was a Seattle Supersonics fan since I'm only a 5 hour drive away when the team move I moved incase you havent noticed we are a lil short on NBA team up here in Canada and I refuse to cheer for any Toronto team
