on the bench: Bargnani - he would be the 6th man of the year if he just focused on scoring against 2nd tier players.
In what world is trading a border-line starting point guard and an unproven big man for an all star big man fair?

I think this would be benificial to all teams involved, Milwakue won't lose Jennings for nothing, New York gets rid of Amare, and Gortat is unhappy in Phoenex. For us it gives us a player that we know will bring it every night in Amare, even though he maybe injury prone we at least will not have to deal with Andrea's attitude anymore. It gives us stability at point guard and some depth at the 5 position so there is less pressure on Jonas.

    New lineup:

    Jennings/Lucas
    DeRozen/Ross/Fields
    Pietrus/Anderson/Ross
    Stoudamire/Johnson/Davis
    Gortat/Valanciunas/Johnson
The Suns get raped so hard

Pistons fan wondering about Kyle Lowry. What would it take from our roster to land him?

Would a Knight/Maggette (expiring deal) for Lowry/Johnson be near what you would like? Not saying thats what it would take but something around that maybe. Knight could learn from playing with a actual pg in Calderon.

We just traded a 1st rounder to get him, we aren't trading him unless we are getting a 1st rounder back.

    something like this maybe
    http:// espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d7r39cm

I took out the space from espn.

    seems pretty fair
Utah trades on of their best pf (jefferson) for one of the better pointgaurds in calderon and a shooter in bargnani

It all depends on Utah, who they think is the player that is not included in their future plan and whether Bargs and Calderon are better options. Either way, Jefferson or Millsap is a great addition to the Raptors.

I'm sure Bargs could get traded ASAP but why sell him when his value is at an absolute all-time low. Unless you can get something decent for him why not see what he's like when he gets back and try to raise his value. Try him as a bench scorer with an extremely short leash.
Bargnani knows he's under major fire right now and if he can't come out with maximum effort then his life as a NBA player could be in serious jeopardy.
A franchise like Toronto needs to maximize every assest we have no matter the outrage from fans and etc.

Seeing that chemistry was a major factor to start the season.

The main reason for trade may not be talent or salvaging value but one of chemistry.

I may be alone in this but I prefer Millsap to Jefferson.

I assume that you value more the combo of Val and Millsap. I don't object.

    Millsap over Jefferson is preference.

On a team featuring Val, Ed, Amir, I do think Millsap would bring a different dynamic.
