I only see a couple of trade opportunities for the raps. Bargs and Kleiza for Gasol and Sacre or Bargs and and Calderon for Gasol and a pick. I really like the Idea of Bargs and Calderon for Mo Williams and Millsap and then trying to sign Millsap in the off season.

The Lakers are not trading Gasol for Bargs and Kleiza. They could get much more for him.

cousins suspended again. Should we take a chance on him? We could take him and some bad contracts like Outlaw and Salmons.

    To Toronto:
    Outlaw
    Salmons
    Cousins

    To Sacramento:
    Their 2nd round pick
    Bargnani
    Gray
    Pietrus

Probably not enough but it depends how much they value Cousins and Bargs.

he's a gamble i'd happily take if you don't have to give up any key pieces like the trade you've proposed. but i don't think the Kings would be interested...

but hopefully we can use his expiring, if not at least we unloaded Novak's deal...

I love Cousins's talent, but he's such a freaking headcase!

I like the idea Bob. Cousins is in need of an investment in mentorship. The kings are a mess in that regard.

Pietrus can't be traded until march though. I'd hate to give up AA.

Cousins needs to go to a team with veteran leadership. The Celtics would be an ideal place. He would be perfect next to KG as well. Having him there would give the Heat fits, with their lack of bulk and interior defense.

Don't know about trading for Cousins but I don't understand how people can question whether it would be a good trade if you have to switch Pietrus for AA. These are minor role players, AA is playing good but he is very replaceable.

    Here's one I'm sure people won't like.

Bargnani and Ross to the Thunder for Perkins, Jackson/Jones and our pick back.

Oklahoma has mostly interior bigs and could use a stretch big, they have also shown interest in Bargs in the past. Ross could be a player that might fit very nice between Durant and Westbrook.

The Raps open up space for their many, many pf's whilegetting a hard nosed vet at center who could help with JV's developement. They also get their pick back so their is no worries about whether it ends up being top 3 or a little later.

OKC can use Bargnani, he'd fit well offensively next to Ibaka. But they would be a poor rebounding front-court. I don't see the use of Ross for them when they have Lamb in the D-League.

I don't think the Raptors do this for the pick back. I personally would rather keep Ross over getting the pick back in a week draft plus if they continue to do well, the pick will get much worse. Perkins doesn't bring much, besides toughness and attitude. PJ has potential, but he can't rebound and is a glorified slasher.

i just read an article that was saying how now was the perfect time to trade calderon since he is playing so well.. the sell high argument.

i can see where that is coming from but does anyone else think it could fracture the locker room if we were to trade him in the near future? he is the unquestioned leader right now and we are not on a 5 game win streak without his play right now. with a young team like we have idk if trading the leader is the right move.

bargs can gtfo but i think calderon should be kept on board for the foreseeable future. i wish one of he or lowry would accept and thrive in a 6th man role off the bench. ray:
