Yup. At this point any improvements we make will be marginal and only serve to improve the Thunder. I'm not for tanking, but I'm also not stupid enough to start making moves when the season is lost.
Frankly I'd like to see Ed, Jonas and Ross improve while Jose boosts his value to get us a mid-first round pick at the deadline.
"Juuuuuuuuuuuuust a bit outside. Wild Thing tried for the corner and missed."
with bargnani out indefinitely
there is nothing left to do on this team but to play on
As long as we give the pick to the Thunder this year and get it over with . We need to set a new lol tanking standard next year maybe even record breaking to secure the first pick in 2014 . Even if it means trading Lowry and DD .
this **** can't get anymore depressing two more years of horrible losing before we go anywhere(including the time it takes to develop the rooks. )

I would argue that losing Bargnani is addition by subtraction. Davis gave us a better game against the Nets then Bargnani has in a long, long time. Dude is one of our best rebounders, and is shooting 57% from the field and 73.5% from the charity stripe.
Can't say losing Lowry is addition by subtraction, but Jose Calderon has been spectacular as a starter this year so far when called upon. He has 5 double-doubles and 1 triple-double in 8 starts this season, and in those games he is averaging 12.5/3.4/12.3 while shooting 53% from behind the arc. If people actually knocked down a few wide open looks from behind the arc the other night he probably would have had like 20 dimes in that game. Him playing 35 mpg for the next few weeks doesn't look like it will be a bad thing. His value could be at an all-time high if he keeps shooting the lights out and averaging double figures in assists.
LOL, if the thunder get the 4th pick. I think they won the trade about 67 to 33 over the Rockets. Martin has fitted in well offensively, Lamb is in the d league, but there are no minutes to help him develop since the Thunder are playing for a high seed and a deep run. Lamb still has potential. It's a weak draft but they may luck out and get a big Like Zeller or Noel.
You think Utah would be up for this?

Low risk high reward, He comes back healthy great we have a all star C who may be able to be signed cheap in the off season. Worst case he doesn't pan out we let him go and have lots of cap space plus be rid of bargs and jose in one go.
