This thread should seriously just be closed. I know he hasn't signed officially anywhere, but he's not signing with us. If they won't even offer Chavez a contract, why would they sign Hamilton for 25 a year?

The Halos weren't even mentioned as a potential suitor for Hamilton until a couple of hours ago. Though that shouldn't surprise anyone given how last year's Albert Pujols negotiations went down. Anaheim has now landed the top position player on the free agent market two years in a row. Hamilton, who slugged 43 home runs and tallied 128 RBI in 2012 for the rival Rangers, should be a force now for their division rivals.
