Maybe package him with one of the good relievers in our system for Brown and someone else? I don't really know there system.

Then make a trade too the Indians for an Outfielder/Catcher? They are rebuilding and need starters. Maybe phelps or nova and some fillers?

Too me the fact that the Yankees have been super quiet and not signing people is because they are working on a trade to fill there needs.

I don't think we get a big haul for Grandy. Maybe one top prospect, but that's it.

Yanks are not going to rape any team in a Grandy trade. They will rape us.

If we see an opening, it may not be a bad path. And Texas will need to replace Hamilton.

I agree. Youth is the way to go at this point. I just don't see us as a real contender unless we re-tool and get younger. Too many up and coming teams. Since we can't spend money, we need to be sellers and re-emerge as spenders in 2-3 years.

Our furture SS and 3B is a nice start. Don't know much about the other guys.

Now that Grienke is off the board, Texas will be interested in an ace to pair with Darvish. How about Sabbathia for the above (assuming no-trade clauses can be worked out)?

Then we have an option to either resign Cano or see if we can piece together a three team deal for Stanton.

Either way, Granderson can also be sold for some young positional talent to add to our farm. How about Seattle? They have a strong farm and are looking for some power.
