    The defense has been solid the last few games, then again Cleveland and the bucks aren't exaclty elite. We will see what happens Thursday, glad we are on a "winning streak" going into it though

    It's not that Dwight is "back", it's that they finally commited to giving him his kind of looks instead of pretending he's Hakeem the Dream. Alley-oops, penetration and dishes inside for easy dunks - that's what he did in Orlando. When he came here we wanted to just throw him the ball in the post and have him go to work like Shaq did, but Dwight hasn't developed that kind of game.
    I'm a Lakers fan...BUT:

    1) No I don't think Kobe > MJ

    2) No I don't think LeBron sucks.

    3) No I don't think it's funny to continuously make jokes about Charles Osborne.

    Something about this thread title nagged at me, and I just realized what it is.

    Half of the people who drop in here (or more) are going to be freaked that Howard is injured again. LOL....

    from what I have seen in the last 2 games is that howard has been getting more shots and thats because gasol is out and he is getting the ball sooner.

    Braylen22, gasol can still play with the bench, no problem it isnt like if you start you cant play with the bench.

    Simple as that. Lots of barbs in the press back up that commentary. But I do like the (only 2 game) identity of this team with D12 and Kobe spearheading the offense and the defensive energy. If touches is what it takes, touches it should be. (dam* being at 500 seems like it's an eternity away sometimes. it would take a 8-10 game streak to lift the chins of a lot of Laker faithful with that deer in the headlights look)
