I know your pretty good with prospects, I believe I see you post in the prospects thread often.

You don't think Ronnier Mustelier should be given a shot in RF for this year? He can hit.

He had good numbers at AAA last year but as a 27 year old, I hesitate to believe the organization has any faith in his ability to produce at the major league level. Traditionally a corner OF needs to have some pop, this is exacerbated in our situation by brett gardner in left, and he only had 10 homeruns, I just get the feeling Mustelier is the prototypical AAAA type player, but what the hell why not? Chances are Ichiro will put up numbers similar to Ronnier, at 10 times the price. I think Mustilier can produce at least as well as Ichiro but thats not saying much.

Possibly a platoon bat only considering he still has some holes in his swing. With that said, he did have a bit of a reverse split in 2012, though the sample size was very small. He's a bat only prospect though. Doesn't offer much in terms of base-running and defense.

He kinda reminds me of Juan Miranda. They were roughly the same age when signed out of Cuba (Miranda was younger, I believe). Both have hit well in the minors. Miranda didn't really do much at the ML-level, though I do remember one moonshot he hit. Forgot against who.

Average speed...average defender....has hit well in the minors but has been a negative offensive player in his brief career. 33 years old...AAA depth, I guess.
