Ichiro's OPS last season was .696. ARod's was .783. Ichiro had a lower OPS than any Yankee player that got regular playing time last season aside from Jones.

Well it most def. wont be Choo. The reds, Indians, Arizona worked out a 3 way trade.

Also, it won't be J-Upton. Arizona said they are no longer fielding offers for J-Upton they decided to keep him.

I don't want Upton, but I wanted Choo.

If Cashman is looking for a RF he isn't going to sign one now thanks to Youk getting 5 mil more than what he is worth. I would still try the Phillies and work out a deal with this type of frame work

It enables Gardner to go back into CF while you have Brown and Mayberry platoon in RF. You use the cash that was freed up to sign a good OF who doesn't receive the big payday(Swisher,Ross,Bourn,etc)

they get major salary relief, a former top prospect, a good OF. It would be to free up money for a guy like Bourn or a couple of good players

I just grow tired of the trades in which the Yankees give up parts and get studs. Or give up aging, overpaid vets and somehow get solid young prospects.
