Good bodyweight workouts
Hey guys, imma cut to the chase I'm 23 5'9 and about 220 lbs when I graduated highschool in 2009 I was 180 Not trying to lose that much without adding muscle... So besides the cardio and conventional pushups/situps .. What are some good bodyweight workouts?
Get yourself a gym membership and train 3-4 times a week which includes cardio. target different muscle groups each session such as:
Throw in Abs/Bis/Tris on these days as well (you pick the day)
a gym is your best bet. but if you don't have access to one, you can get P90X
I agree with using the gym for effectiveness but I've been there with bodyweight as well. Good bodyweight exercises:
Pull ups...get a cheap pull up bar that goes in your door frame. This is probably the best bodyweight exercise you can possibly do.
Chair dips - Works the triceps.
If you get some resistance bands you could do many things with them to add resistance to your body weight exercises.
Hand stand pushups are my favorite. Then pullups
