Agreed, if it's a minor league deal I'm fine with it, but idk if I can take another season with him as the "everyday" 3B... I'd rather throw Vitters out there and let him go than strictly Stewart.

Minor League deal and letting him potentially compete for a roster spot and the starting job is fine. Realisticly whoever they bring in for third is either going to not have much history there or is a question mark. So it makes sense to have as much depth as possible there.

If it's a minor league deal, fine.
However, there were some rumblings that a few teams were interested in him, so he probably got some assurance he'd get a chance to compete for a spot.
We're running out of places for interesting new players.

Meh not too bad of a contract. That's dirt cheap. bumps our payroll up to around 8 dollars now.
