I cant complain with the following:
Revere
Swisher
Utley
Howard
Rollins
Young
Ruf
Ruiz
Then I assume we sign an SP or 2

I dont get why people still want to hit Ruiz 8th and Howard 4th. Boggles my mind
Well, I feel like were going to see some regression from Ruiz, and better play out of howard this year
Like Happ once Worley is gone the hype will fade and the guy will suck
I am not a fan of this deal... I like who we got no doubt but why give up a prospect and a cost friendly starting pitcher for a cost friendly center fielder??? We have a large pct of our money put into pitching and just gave up the least expensive one....Just not understanding.

I don't think you get revere any other way. He's a good player with a great contract. You give up more for those types.
Mickey Miss on 97.5 says it best: "it may not be what we like, but could they have done better? Sometimes you just have to do the best you can."
Or 5th.
Or 6th.
Really, it hardly matters where he bats as long as Utley isn't immediately in front of him. Currently, I would bat Utley 2nd, Ruiz 3rd, and Howard 4th. If the Phillies were to add a guy like Swisher, then lineup construction gets difficult without moving Howard down.

Anyone who thinks Revere is a quality leadoff hitter is sadly mistaken, he is more of an 8-hole hitter at this point in his career. He doesnt walk and has a low OBP. The fact that he doesnt strike out is more suited for the 8-hole to me. People hate Jimmy Rollins as leadoff for not walking but he walked far more that Revere (62 compared to just 29) last season.

the 8 hole but not the 2 hole??? That sounds like a perfect 2 hole hitter to me
Basically Polly with speed
I would lead him off and bat rollins between utley/howard.
Revere
Utley
Rollins
Howard
Chooch
Or
Revere
Rollins
Utley
Chooch
Howard
Or
Rollins
Revere
Utley
Chooch
Howard

I don't trust Rollins in the 3 hole. Phil's have tried that experiment and it didn't work. We need to see what Chooch is without the Aderall. So these could be options, but with a lot of questions marks.
Assuming Phil's get Young:
1. Revere
2. Rollins
3. Utley
4. Young
5. Howard
6. Chooch
7. Ruff
8. Brown
9. Pitcher
I don't LOVE this. Not sure Young is best there. But I'm not sure which Chooch the Phil's are getting back
