You are the owner of the Nuggets. What do you want to see happen soon within reason?

You are the owner of the Nuggets. What do you want to see happen soon within reason?

    1. A more organized offense with some real go to team plays. Seems like the team plays play ground ball too often.

    2. A more organized team defense. Guys like Iggy, Gallo, etc are willing to play defense individually but the team needs a team defense mentality inside and out.

    3. I would look in to trading Iggy. He may be better than AA but the team needs more than Iggy.

    4. Decide is TY the PG of the future or not. If he is than run with him. If he isnt also consider trading him IF the right player comes along.

    5. Get Chandler healthy. He could really help if healthy.

    6. More defined roles for the center position. Is it K2? Is it McGee? Is it Moz? Let 2 of these guys play a set number of minutes a night baring injury or foul trouble.

    7. More team intensity. I do not expect playoff intensity but these guys have to want it as much as teams like the Spurs, the Heat, etc.

I would do nothing, Uriji did a AMAZING job! he just has to be relaxed and let the coaches coach this high rate of talent., this team needs time to gel. Miami wasn't working well first half of their very first season together. It just takes time. if this team leans on defense, and work on its chemistry and know each other roles. if this team fails first 2 season, i think Karl needs to re-evaluate himself as a coach. denver loves karl, hes been here forever, cancer therapy. its sad, but denver would eventually have to look else where if he cant get a team this talented in the playoffs, and if he can, were fine. do I expect a championship this season, no. I honestly think a team atleast needs a year together to gel, IMO tho.

karl should stop dancing around playing musical chairs, give mcgee the starting job. let him start an entire season.

The team can make the playoffs but is that the ultimate goal? I like GK but I would like a assistant brought in to help organize the offense and the defense. I'd like to see some more organized play calling and less playground ball. As far as gelling goes most these guys outside of Iggy have played together a while now. If the goal is 45-50 wins and playoffs that is do able.

thats legitmentally what im expecting, Im hoping this team comes together full circle and gets past the first round.

ultimate goal is championship. thats something that takes steps and process. im just aware of that. as miami found out, you cant just buy a championship 1st season, 2nd season they just looked so much better, together. I think nuggets need to just find everyone roles, iggy as well. only person id entertain trading is Wilson chandler.

idk if we need anything maybe a bigman that can score in the paint. I mean I believe Javale could if they gave him more time to learn, still not a fan of his unorthodox shots, he needs to slam and get double double's like he was in washington. night in and out.

hes just as athletically gifted as Bynum. why cant javale get there one day, he can if they just work at it and give consistently high minutes, and have him start.

Im frustrated with karl more than the team.

I think the gap between 45-50 win first round exit and championship is huge for this team. Miami made it to the finals in their first year. The Celtics won in the finals in their first year. The starters on this team are the same as last year other than Iggy. That is not a big change that needs a year of work together. They can gel for 20 years but not win a championship. The offense is unorganized. The team defense is unorganized. The team lacks intensity at times. We need the coaches to change that right away. I'd like to see more coaching and some player changes. The team can beat anyone but it also can lose to anyone else.

1)Fire GK and Hire Shaw or McMillan or Sloan
2)Trade Brewer+Mozgov/KK for true PF Backup
3)Trade Randolph+Miller for backup PG(15 min a game max. and don't let him play 2 lol)
    4)Give Ty,Gallo,Iggy,Faried,McGee starting positions and starter minutes-35min. a game if it's not a blowout..
5)Delete all Twitter accounts from Nuggets players
6)Play better defense, that would come with Shaw or McMillan i think.
7)Let Ty lead this team,if not trade him for CP3 with Chandler maybe?
    8)Give JHam 15-20 min a game(SG-SF positions)
9)Give Fournier and Miller some garbage time, this one is connected to 4.,they would make big difference enough to let F&M play some time.
    10)Dig In!
    11)Win Championship!

I would like to see home games, so that we can truly judge this team. I don't like GK, but he is not the reason why we are losing regular season games. I don't like GK because come playoff season, he will be the reason why we lose games. Right now we have had a brutal schedule and young teams aren't gonna win a lot on the road. Our home record is respectable and I think when we start playing easy teams at home, we will be where I expect us to be, a .600 team clinching roughly the 6th seed. This team will never climb higher unless McGee breaks out and we get better at shooting.

once we get passed all these away games and ill will is back, the team gels a little more well still be one of the most dangerous teams in the league. im not too worried yet. i would still think this roster could pull off a better record than under .500 tho.. even with all the away games

Its hard to get excited about any potential this team might have with karl. He will find a way to stunt this teams growth. When guys like andre miller, kosta koufos, and corey brewer are getting huge minutes while guys like jordan hamilton and mcgee even not getting enough playtime it is discouraging. Until Karl starts actually coaching I refuse to set the bar high at all.

In fact getting the 8th seed will be surprising for me. 1st round exit will be expected. Anything more will be a shock.

I think the roster is fine, sure I'd like a back-up point guard that can score and play D, but Andre Miller is still a fine playmaker and seems like Ty is starting to try some Milleresque lob passes, so some of Miller's play may be starting to rub off on Ty.

They way I see it, I think we should add some additional specialized coaches. Would love to bring in an assistant coach, something like a defensive co-ordinator in the NFL. A coach which could be a head coach but accepts the job of being the defensive mentor to the Nuggets.

I would also bring in a dedicated free throw coach.

With a roster worth some 60 Million a year, I would think investing in some specialized coaching would seem to be a wise investment.

Fire Karl and you don't need to hire a million different specialized coaches to make up for this teams ineptness under GK. He needs to make it known what his philosophy is on D and motivate the players to improve their game (FT'S). Hes had enough excuses over the last 9 years and the more L's that pile up and playoff exits the more heat Karl should get.

Sidenote: Karl was fired one year after nearly leading the bucks to the finals for underachieving. Here in denver we allow Karl to underachieve with a franchise player for 7 years and no action has been taken.

    Or this ^^^

But given GK isnt going to be fired during the season... then I would look to bring in coaches that fill the voids in GK abilities.

I agree. I highly doubt Karl gets the boot during the season as it would create too much drama (I would love it though)

If I were in Masai's boots I would be scanning the league for possible replacements for Karl. As I said in the past there are a couple good coaching prospects out there and its 100% worth it for the FO to see if anyone might be a fit. Theres also a couple coaching vets still hovering around but they are not coaching for a reason.

Just so tired of Karl underachieving and conceding defeat against perceived superior teams. His comments about LA (The Lakers not Clips) over the last few years have been sickening in terms of that mentality.

If I were the owner, first and foremost thing I would do is fire Karl. He has no more fire, I think the cancer treatments took a lot out of him. I would then beg for Phil Jackson to come out of retirement to coach the Nuggets. If not him then definitely bring in Shaw or Mcmillan as replacements.
