The anti-Bargnani thread

In my opinion, anyone wanting Bargnani is making a big mistake. I see his name all over threads, and we need to stop that noise.

First off, his defense and rebounding are beyond horrible. Secondly, Pau (in the last two years at least) shoots a higher % than him from 16-23 feet.

Lastly; and maybe most importantly, his big contract would screw up the 2014 free agency period:

2011-12: $9,250,000.
2012-13: $10,000,000.
2013-14: $10,750,000.
2014/15: $11,500,000.
2015-16: UFA

Rule #1: Dont trade Euros for other Euros. I dont think we should trade Pau at all because we wont get enough in return, but you guys that want to trade Pau over the last 2 years is all because he's "Soft", and "doesnt play defense", and "is not athletic enough". Guess what? That defines european basketball. If thats what you want to avoid, then you dont want anyone from Europe.
