I like this album. It's not that its bad...its just not as good as the others. Doesnt have too much replay value tbh

This album has kind of grown on me the more I listen to it. I added the tracks he said to - Murder and Rollin' are really good.

Earlier in the thread I said the album was a 7.0-7.5/10. I think after adding the tracks he couldn't get sample clearance for (which is kind of "cheapens" the album IMO but doesn't bother me too much) and listening to it a bit more, I think it's a solid 7.5/10, maybe a little higher.

I was kinda young and not as much into music when he came out with his other albums (Except for RED album of course). I personally think this is definitely a top 5 album this year. I think my favorite song might be All That (Lady). I know it's kinda mainstream, but I'm a sucker for features like that. Wayne isn't what he used to be, but his verse on there really isn't that bad. I wish Fab's verse was longer because he is one of my favorite rappers and very underrated. My second favorite is probably Pray, I like the hook and J. Cole does his thing. I like the song with Kendrick in it, but it's not really what I expected.

Like I said, I like a lot of features, and I don't really think I could listen to a bunch of songs with just The Game. So it was kind of necessary.

kendrick didnt kill him, its simply amazing how people think kendrick kills people because he uses metaphors and what not. i bet if kendrick was on a song with dmx or pac people would think he killed them two

some rappers get straight to the point, others just use different routes to get there

kendricks verse on this album wasnt as good as what he did on the red album, and even on that album i felt they were even, on this album i feel that game actually stood out on the track, where i figured kendrick would have killed his verse

common has an argument tho and pusha t obviously killed him, felt more like it was pusha t ft game than game ft pusha t

It wasn't Kendrick's best verse, not even close...but I did like it more. Oh well.


But on The City, Kendrick spazzed ridiculously. Game was fine, but Kendrick just went off.

I liked those tracks. I liked Holy Water too (cool beat).

But there are some tracks on here that I really didn't like.

I know some of those were meant to be radio singles, which I don't have a problem with. I like a lot of "radio rap." I just thought the tracks Game went with for that weren't very good. Even judging them for what they are they're still bad songs to me.

I Remember was pretty bad too but it's at least a guilty pleasure track for me. Every now and then I love some ignorant **** to bump to and get hyped.

Most of the tracks on this were either big hits for me or skips. It's a tough album for me to rate because of that.

Don't agree with people saying Game got killed on the Pusha and K Dot features. I think he outdid K Dot and him and Pusha just had an amazing track in Name Me King, I see no point in trying to see who had the better verse, they both went in.

Overall, I liked the album a lot. Definitely a good Christmas with this, Big Boi and TI's album in rotation.

I really like the song Scared Now. The G-Unit drop killed me though. I know Game isn't the same as he used to be but damn. I used to love Game. What happened to Stop Snitching era Game?
