    To LA: Calderon, Bargnani

    To Minnesota: Derozan, Pau

To Toronto: Pekovic, Kirilenko, Derrick Williams, Luke Ridnour, Minnesota + Memphis 1st round pick in 2013.

Minnesota gets a player they covet in pau and the dynamic wing scorer theyve been looking for to add to their core in derozan.
If we really wanna get creative and blow it all up to go for Wiggins we could also try and rope in OKC and get our pick back. Pekovic at C could be the last piece that OKC needs to really push them over the top.

    To LA: Calderon, Bargnani

    To Minnesota: Derozan, Pau

To Toronto: Nick Collison, Kirilenko, Derrick Williams, Luke Ridnour, Eric Maynor, Toronto + Memphis 1st round pick in 2013.

    To OKC: Nikola Pekovic

How do you figure? Collison becomes redundant with Pekovic on the team, and OKCs in a position to win right now. They might not get the raps pick until next year and even then rookies dont always pan out. OKC has a lotto pick right now in Jeremy Lamb that cant crack the rotation.

Pekovic is arguably a top 10 C at this point and a perfect addition to that core.

You can swap out Maynor for Reggie Jackson if you paticularly like Maynor.

They say that almost every year. So far, to me it doesn't look like the draft will be very deep but there is sure to be some special players in the top 5. Shabazz Muhammed looks like he could be a very special player, as do a couple of other guys. Either way though there is a whole season of NCAA to play out, so some guys will fall and others will go up in the draft. A lot remains to be seen.

He's nothing special. Having a terrible year so far, isnt exactly young and is coming off an injury. He'll probably be gone at the end of this year to go to a team will give him an opportunity to play.

You still sure they "really like" him? I dont even know why we would want him in that deal anyways.

Pekovic is exactly the type of inside scorer they need.

Do any teams not like their players?

Bottom line is that he isnt a deal breaker, he's a throw in at most. He's proven absolutely nothing in this league.

I was using him more as cap ballast in the trade than anything. Like I said, id pull the same deal with reggie jackson in his place if they really do like maynor as much as bob thinks.

Why not a 4 way trade

Denver: Get Pekovic and Derrick Williams (lose Gallinari and Mozgov)
    - Pekovic is better than Mozgov
    - Gallinari is better than Derrick Williams

Lakers: Get Bargnani, Mozgov and Calderon (lose Pau Gasol)
    - probably would need picks coming from Denver and Minnesota

Minnesota: Get Paul Gasol (lose Ridnour, Williams, and Pekovic)
    - what they lose is their original offer for Pau Gasol

Raptors: Get Gallinari and Ridnour (lose Bargnani and Calderon)
    - Gallinari = dynamic SF on offense
    - Ridnour is better defensively than Calderon

The Lakers don't seem to like Pau right now. We didn't like JJ late last season.

That is my point. We consider him a throw-in, I think the Thunder value him a lot more than that.

I sometimes play pick-up ball at gyms in Richmond Hill. Why do you ask?
