So this has to mean we're shopping Richards or something. Alden Gonzalez said that sources said the Angels are still in on Sanchez/Jackson/Greinke. Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself we're going into the season with a rotation of Weaver/Wilson/Hanson/Blanton/Richards.

Second, if his ground ball rate is that high and he still allowed 29 HR's, does that mean every non-ground ball was a home run?

We got 17M to spend if we want to go back to our 159M payroll. So a Grienke or Hamilton would put us at 162-167M payroll. Not to bad. A Hamilton and Shields would put us at 172-177M. Not sure if Arte wants to go that high. Maybe a Shields and Swisher? I wouldn't mind swisher for a 4yr 50M. Or Bourn for 5yr 80M. This only works if we trade Bourjos for Shields.
