What would a ring with Portland have done to Pippen/Sheed's career?

Sheed was the teams most talented player but most people felt Pippen was the emotional leader and glue of the squad.

Would a championship have done anything significant to their careers? By significant I mean a leap above several players in the GOAT standings.

Pippen winning a ring as the "man" as JB would say would have done wonders for his legacy.

It would have been huge for Pippen. He was the veteran leader of the Blazers, it would have been a title without Jordan. Pippen was an absolutely great player and even to this day some people underrate him because he played with the best player ever.

I think it would've been more likely to raise Pippen's stature than Sheed's, only because Sheed isn't really thought of as an all-time great and I don't think his individual numbers and accolades warrant putting him near that conversation.

lmao guys u do realize that the man in Portland was Sheed and not Pippen. Pippen was a second or third option with Stoudemire at that stage of his career.

Pippen winning another ring would put him higher up then he already is on the echelon because he'd have 7 rings. He's probably considered a little higher on the top 25 players of all time list. That being said, it doesn't do wonders and make him jump over like 5-10 guys since he was basically just a cog at that point.

I love Sheed and he's my favorite player of all-time but the guy isn't even a HOF with that ring. He is simply a better, more entertaining version of Derrick Coleman, someone with a ton of talent who didn't even scratch the surface of his potential.

Assuming Sheed still gets his with Detroit, It would be bigger for Pippen.. Getting one as "the man" lol without Jordan.
