Reynolds is my choice. He K's a lot, but also has RHed power and walks quite a bit.

I don't think we get Drew, though I like him. But I believe he wants to start.

I'm not a big fan of Nunez at 3rd. We've said time and time again he's a SS. And that swapping positions seems to mess him up. So let's leave him @ SS.

I also have no issues with Hannigan, Escobar, Youk. Let's not act like every viable option has fallen off the table.

I have a serious problem with a streaky hitter like Reynolds. I prefer Nunez by a long shot. Maybe he will get extra motivation since he will be a Yankee, but his walks have actually gone down as well. Idk, at this point, him or Nunez makes no difference to me. More exciting to watch Nunez and see what he can do.

Trade our left fielder for a 3B? We still end up with a void. Also, I prefer Grandy over aging Young.

Ok you guys. I know this isn't for Outfielders, but why would the Yankees need Schierholtz? They have Dickerson and there isn't much difference , except Dickerson has more power speed and is better defensively. I don't get why we need another part timer

I doubt Dickerson is the superior defensive player.

Schierholtz can't go get the ball? I'd also mention he might have the best OF arm in the game.

And we need to spend money on a part time left handed hitting outfielder? Use the difference to Trade up at third or DH. Right handed hitter in this lineup that wasn't a streak hitter might help. Schierholtz is a waste of time, unless we are trying to sleep through this season.

At this point I want them to use Nunez at third. Work on his throwing motion for the rest of the offseason and get him more experience at the position in spring training.

I am with you. the guy can hit . he can run has a strong arm and the physical tools be to a solid defender.
He may be better than most on the market

Third base solution:

Is to make A-rod a full time DH. If he ever comes back.

Slide cano over to 3B. Generally a longer shelf life and if they are going to give him a long term big contract. Then I think this is ideal.

Jeter at SS with a possible replacement in nunez in a few years when jeter retires depending on how he progresses. If not cross that bridge when it happens.

Adams at 2B.

I would like too see that happen this year, it solves our third base problem. Adams is a promising young player and he can handle his own at 2nd. Cano has the arm to handle third and has the range.
