    Jeremy Stewart inactive

Darren McFadden - RB - Raiders
Darren McFadden (ankle) is active for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.
McFadden suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 9 against the Bucs and missed the next four games. DMC will try to up his minuscule 3.3 YPC average against Denver's No. 7 run defense. Mike Goodson (ankle) is also active. Inactive for the Raiders are DT Richard Seymour, DE Jack Crawford, RB Jeremy Stewart, WR Derek Hagan, OT Willie Smith, OL Lucas Nix, and RB Jamize Olawale.

Thus further proving the ineptitude of the coaching staff. We'll play the higher priced and underwhelming running backs over a guy who is working hard and running efficiently.

    We'll see.

DMC, for all of his faults, is still pretty damned terrifying to a defense when he gets into open space.

I really hope he can reclaim some of that early '11 mojo, when he was running really hard and playing very well.

Yeah those 34 yards and 2.6 YPC he had in the first game sure were impressive.

    This is odd...

Can only dress so many people for the game and when your two "best "Running backs are back healthy there is an on man out I guess. I would have sat Jones too!

...or Schmitt. He has not been an impressive lead blocker, has not caught one pass, and can't convert on 3rd and 1. Not worth having on the 45 man roster.

they must really want to see how the young guys respond under the lights but I agree - Hagan should be active for this. He's quietly been a decent receiver for us when they put him in there.

Screw it, put all the starters that have backups, on the inactive for the rest of the season and let the backups play and see who's worth keeping for good depth at those positions next year. The seasons already lost, so might as well start planning for next year.

Stewart has been more productive than McFadden so far in the first quarter in street clothes....Hopefully, they are trying to market McFadden or something because he is another overpriced, wasted pick.
