^ That's great news. Hopefully he isn't rusty and contributes right off the bat.

Spurs really need to bounce back from the road losses. What better way than to play against the NO Mosquitoes!

'Coach, we've got an issue with Kawhi in the arena. Event management called and the lights are not on, and Kawhi's in the arena for two straight days at 6:30 in the morning. And he brought two lamps from home, and he put them up in the arena and shot.'

Lol yea these 2 days off will help us. All things considered were in pretty good shape. Injuries, schedule, etc...

I think I read somewhere like in March we only have 2 road games. this tough road will pay off for us later in the season!

Manu out with a strained calf. Really sucks he's been playing really well lately (turnovers aside) He's been shooting the ball confidently and finishing around the rim. Hopefully it's not something that keeps him out too long.

    Thanks for the update KD.

This really does suck! Manu IMO, was the best player on the court this past couple of weeks. He was looking like the old Manu. Hopefully hes not out for too long.

    Any updates please post ASAP.

San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has updated his injury situation on his Twitter account.

Breaking of fibers in left hamstring, estimated 10/14 days out (@ManuGinobili)
Manu suffered the injury during the recent win over Minnesota.
With the maximum of two weeks, the Spurs have enough depth to make up for his contributions. He'll likely miss seven games with this timetable, having him return against the Charlotte Bobcats at the latest.

That's the best possible news I think. He'll be good to go on the rodeo road trip in a few weeks. (If all goes as planned of course)

^ When does the rodeo road trip kick off?

Manu going through some fairly intensive rehab work here at the end of shootaround.
Very good news. Hopefully his rhythm isn't too out oh whack when he returns

Injury reports: M. Ginobili will be in uniform, may play limited minutes. K. Leonard out left knee contusion. T. Duncan out sore left knee.

Not too surprised about Tim he was kind of limping towards the end of the Philly game. I just hope the extra days off will help and he's ready to go Friday in Dallas. He's been healthy all year (knock on wood) This shouldn't be too big a deal.

Knee contusion could keep Kawhi out the rest of the week, though I'm just going based off of what a knee contusion is. Might just need time for the bruising/soreness/swelling (if any) to go away

Good news about Manu though His energy will be needed even in limited minutes.

Great to see Manu gear up for this game. I wasn't aware of timmys injury; but better safe than sorry.

I'll post game thread in a bit.

Spurs announce Tim Duncan (sore left knee) and Gregg Popovich (sick) did not travel to Dallas today and will miss Friday's game at Mavs
Tim should be back for the home game Saturday against the Suns. I think they're being extra cautious with his knee and it doesn't make sense to play him in a B2B right now.

Hope Pop is OK. He hardly ever misses games, and he's now going to miss his 2nd straight.

Kawhi Leonard flew to Dallas with Spurs but listed as questionable for tomoro's game vs. Mavericks
Assuming he's going to play, I hope they didn't fly him there for nothing..
