The Royals are not going to give up Myers for Holland. I don't think Moore is that dumb. I really don't think the Indians are going to give up Cabrera and the main piece they get back is Bauer or Skaggs with some spare pieces in Moreland and McDonald/Pennington. And the Rangers will have to give up more than just Moreland, Holland, and Olt for Upton.

Throw in some prospects then? I don't know. I was just taking a shot at speculation. You could probably switch Shields and Holland in their prospective final destination, but then I think the Royals would have to give up more and I don't think they're willing to trade Gordon/Butler/Moustakas. Maybe Hosmer though.

I wouldn't give up Olt, Moreland and Holland for Justin Upton.

Be that the case, as I said earlier, you could switch where Holland and Shields end up. However, that would likely mean the Royals would have to give up Myers and Hosmer. I wouldn't do the trade if I'm the Royals, but I think Moore would.

What are you talking about? Martin has been one of the Ranger's top prospects the last couple years and, if you guys get Upton, will likely be your starting center fielder next year.

Martin hasn't really showed much at the ML level. I wouldn't be too concerned if he was part of a deal for Upton although I would like to keep him.

I have the feeling Martin's bat is going to be bad in the MLB. I'm not alone either, and he probably means more to the Rangers than other teams at this point. If he came up and set the world on fire in his first 60 PAs it would probably be a different story.

Martin was never as highly touted as Trout was. Without checking, I think Martin barely cracked the top 100 prospect list while of course Trout was either 1 or 2 depending on who you ask.

Rangers Get: Justin Upton

D'Backs Get: Asdrubal Cabrera and James Shields

Indians Get: Trevor Bauer/Tyler Skaggs, Mitch Moreland/Mike Olt, John McDonald/Cliff Pennington

Rays Get: Mike Olt/Mitch Moreland, Wil Myers

Royals Get: Derek Holland

The Royals won't give up Myers for Niese or Dickey both much better then Holland.
