There were definitely posters on here predicting/arguing that they'd break the record, giving the impression that's what Lakers fans thought, but it was only the overzealous superhomers that aren't really representative of the fanbase as a whole.

Lakers are basically going to have go through this season without a coach and hope Nash can be that player-coach. Mike D'Antoni is not a coach he's just like the dad who drives everyone to the games and brings all the kids gatorades.
