We'll see what their research suggests. But I honestly can't see how the research wouldn't significantly favor a change in the name. I know for me personally I don't own any Bobcats gear, but if we change it to the Hornets I'll buy some gear real quick.

This must happen. Bill Voth said on twitter that Charlotte would only have to pay $3 million to get the name back. That is a pittance. The Hornets brand is infinitely more popular, and I think pretty obviously would sell much better than Bobcats gear.

Bring back the hornets please. I still get sad thinking of the goodbye video played on tv after there last game. I enjoy the Bobcats but i think this would be the beginning of a much needed culture change.
