Huge game for us. This game is a measuring stick and carries huge playoff implications (seedings etc)

It'll be tough with all our injuries but its not like the texans don't have injuries of their own.

Regardless I think that we NEED to win this game!

I honestly totally expect us to win this game. Hopefully the weather dips down a bit up here too because it hasn't been that cold enough the past few days that it would give the Pats a home field advantage

Week 14: Texans(11-1) vs. Pats(9-3)-The Patriots will Foster Arian

Going to the game this week with my sisterfor her birthday. Should be a great game. Going to cook steaks wings and shrimp with some nice cold IPA beers.

This will be my fifth game I've attended and I've always catch the Ws. Here is to 5-0

Should be a hard win to pull off but I got a good feeling. The d is getting better with each passing week. I feel like we are being very aggressive compared to the past few years and we need to stay that way.

The O has been very impressive minus a few games like last week but a home game should pump them up.

Need to be firing on all cylinders to win and I'm praying we will be.

    Pats 30
    Houston 20

    Pray for snow!

I'm gonna be most fixated on how the run defense does, in both of these next games really. It went from being a huge area of strength early on in the season to being pretty average and at times poor since the game in London.

    I'm excited.

I just looked on weather.com for a preliminary report. They have it at 39 degrees and 40% chance of rain (which if colder will turn to snow) for 12/10 after nightfall. Definitely a lot colder than Houston and the dome.

Yeah, the colder the better for us afaic.

Shocked at the Tackles leaders. Mayo has twice as many as Watt
He needs to average 20 tackles/game to break the single season tackles record of 195.

Honestly if we are going to make it out of the AFC in the playoffs it is probably going to be though Houston and having Talib to match up on Johnson really helps.

The thing that sucks here is if we lose, not only is the #1 seed gone, the #2 probably is gone too. Meaning no bye week to start. If we end up at the #4, we might have to play at home, then Denver, then Houston - that's probably too much to ask.

Winning this one and losing to SF keeps the #2 as a solid chance.

Losing both, it's time to start checking the draft boards.

The key to this game is Vollmer. He was up and down against Wake last week, if he plays like that on Monday, JJ Watt is going to have at least 3 sacks.

I agree with those that are saying this is the biggest game for our playoff seeding. We really need to be firing on all cylinders to beat this team. If we can pull out a win, it puts us in great position and gives us a ton of momentum.

Two keys for me, Vollmer having an effective outing against Watt as Mooz said, and stopping Owen Daniels. We've got the pieces in place to stop everyone else, but I'm not so sure our coverage is capable of stopping good Tight Ends. Only the Redskins have allowed more TE receptions than the Patriots this year.

Patriots have allowed more fantasty points to Tight Ends (in my league anyways) than anyone else. I expect Daniels to have a very good game. If we can 'foster' Arian and limit AJ to an average game than we have a very good shot at winning.
