Can asdrubal cabrera play 3rd? If so why not make a push for him. Would take worley n prob 1-2 prospects but this guy is cheap good has some power n can hit lefties.

Indians have a VERY high asking price for him apparently. Not sure he's ever played third...but there a coule of teams (AZ, OAK) who are pretty desperate for a SS who might be willing to meet their tag.
Hes played 1.1 innings at 3B. No idea if he would be able to successfully make the move from SS to 3B.
N00bs R Us around here recently. No wonder I took a vacation.

He would have zero problems transitioning from short to third...
Have any of you seen him play short ???
.
I'd worry about his hitting before his glove..
can't ever see this happening
There was a rumor about Cabrera that sounded an awful lot like the Phillies. A team tried to acquire Cabrera for another position. Deal was nixed when they asked for a 4th prospect.
Who can say how real that was or if it really was the Phillies.

Had to have been Worley.

It was probably Worley, May, and others. Moot now that we traded for Revere. Would have liked Cabrera, but his value is at a high right now so we would have likely overpaid.
