Off the top of my head I would say Brady. Then I thought well most great players dont usually become the greatest coaches. Sooo I while I would love to see what a Brady would do I say the better one would be a Charley Batch/Matt Flynn type player.

How often do great players become great coaches? Chances are most players that will turn great coaches would probably be a mediocre or backup QB who's been in the NFL for the last 15 years or so (a la Harbaugh). Someone like Doug Pederson, Ty Detmer, Brunell, etc...

I think some realistic guys that could eventually become coaches (and I mean head coaches or coordinators, I could see anyone being a position coach) are

    Peyton Manning
    Alex Smith
    Arian Foster
    Ray Lewis
    Tony Romo
    Reggie Wayne
    Larry Fitzgerald
    Ryan Fitzpatrick

Although, the best coaches aren't usually the best players. A guy like Damon Huard, who was so rarely a starter but played in tons of different offenses, would make a great offensive coordinator. So there are probably tons of back ups at all positions throughout the league that would be good coaches because of how well traveled they are.
