Zack Greinke and Dodgers agree to 6-year, $147M deal

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com hears that the Dodgers have become the "clear favorite" to land Zack Greinke.

The New York Post's Joel Sherman reported Monday that the Rangers were "right there with" the Dodgers on Greinke. However, it's been hard to see anyone but the Dodgers as the favorites to land him all along, as they're essentially working with an unlimited budget. The right-hander could land a deal in the range of Cole Hamels' and CC Sabathia's contract.

Greinke and Kershaw, pretty damn good. The rest of their rotation won't be too bad either. Giants vs Dodgers is gonna be even better.

Just finish this signing already... This would have to put the Dodgers as a top 2 or 3 contender in the NL

Considering how not-on-point sports writers have been on deals before they happen this year, meh.

Nothing against the Dodgers here, but I hope someone comes up and punches them in the teeth for them. He'd look mighty good in Cubbie Blue.

it appears the Greinke derby is currently betw. the #rangers and #dodgers. belief is the deal likely to be for $160M-plus.

Lolz these deals are getting out of hand.

Well the shade of blue he looks best in is subjective, however i think he will pitch better in LA and the pitchers parks here on the west coast than in Chicago
