I'm fine with not getting Grienke at $160 million. I'm OK with it, but I'm OK with not spending that on a pitcher that isn't Kershaw.

I just worry what losing him might mean. Then we will go after Dickey I honestly believe and likely get trade rapped since the Mets will obviously want Dee and Lee to start with. If money is a surplus honestly to these guys, I would just sign Greinke and Sanchez/Ryu and be done spending on pitching for a while and focus on upgrading the lineup some more. Our lineup is stacked nicely already but some upgrades with the prospects we are saving from trades on pitching, could be used to upgrade 3rd or short. Troy Tulowitski, Chase Headley? idk just my thinking.

If he's getting over $25 mil I don't mind not getting him, that's all I'm saying. I don't have doubts in the team though. I don't see them getting raped in a trade. They'd just go out and sign Sanchez or Loshe. Headly is a guy I wouldn't mind seeing the team go after.

22.5 mil a year is the maximum amount the Dodgers should pay for Greinke, or else they'll just look like fools.
