    As a Duck fan I believe our success is more likely to be a mirage than K-States.

    We have a Freshman QB and a really young team overall and we played 2 actually tough teams (Stanford and Oregon State) and lost to 1 of them.

    A mirage? This is Oregon's fourth straight BCS bowl, and we won the Rose Bowl last year. Our success is not a mirage....lol

    I'm surprised at how much ESPN is dismissing Kansas State in this matchup. On the bowl mania show, a few of the analysts had Oregon with a confidence in the 30s, and that is very surprising. The 9.5 point spread is also pretty high in my opinion. I don't think Oregon runs away with this one easily.
