Yea we want change, but a player needs to prove he can play a full, healthy, and somewhat productive season in the minors, preferably AAA, before getting called up to the majors. Furthermore, if he hits really well in spring training that will also enhance his chances of making the team.

I would love nothing more then for Romine to be granted the starters catching job.

He needs to earn it first.

You're ranting is simply to belittle the Yankee fans who just want to see their team win and not let a greedy owner run it to the ground. I'm not saying he should not strive to get below the $189M mark, but there are moves that should have already been made this off-season that would still keep finances in tact for 2014.

Too the Phillies for a bat girl.

She's super hot though, and only 21. Win.

Some team needing an Outfielder willing to give up a few prospects.

I'm brain storming various lineup combinations. Wanted to gauge some opinions.

Expect for the fact that we sign an injury prone drug addict who's body is already falling apart for a mega money deal.

Also ichiro should be a 4th outfielder.

    My input.

This is one conclusion I have come too as well.

Although Hamilton is better than Granderson, he is more injury prone.

Curtis played in nearly every single game last year. Day in and day out.

That is very valuable to me.

Were it just Hamilton fine. But...

Romine basically didn't play last season.
Youk hasn't played a full season since 2008.
Gardner missed most of last season.
Jeter has a major injury at the end of last season.
Throw in the ages of Ibanez and Ichiro and I have serious doubts this would be serious trouble.

And that leads me to my point. The best lineup I could possibly form.

One that does NOT include Josh Hamilton despite how good he could be in Yankee Stadium.

We'd have too many question marks.

Keep Granderson and add Ichiro, Youkilis (almost done) and Pierzynski through Free Agency for the best lineup.

    1. Derek Jeter SS
    2. Ichiro Suzuki RF
    3. Robinson Cano 2B
    4. Mark Teixeira 1B
    5. Curtis Granderson LF
    6. Kevin Youkilis 3B
    7. AJ Pierzynski C
    8. Eduardo Nunez DH
    9. Brett Gardner CF
