His year was a fluke, do not expect the same results as this season. There is a reason he is the most hated man in baseball, just saying...
Who is expecting that?
People would expect him to continue to be a good hitting, good defensive catcher, which he has been his whole career. Couldn't have been that bad, as the White Sox had him for 8 seasons, Minnesota had him for 6.
Also has had some nice playoff series as well, just saying. Better player than Martin, and definitely a better player than whoever else we might have to catch right now. And honestly, a tough, fiery, ***hole type guy might be something that this team needs right now.

not much of a choice here.

Then he'll sing the praises of "team harmony and balance and building from within" while passing on superior talent.
Wash.
Rinse.
Repeat.
Any Questions?
Joel Sherman of the NY Post says:
Within the same column, Sherman writes that he's receiving "strong indications" the Yankees don't intend to pursue A.J. Pierzynski.
AJ is a gamer. Reminds me of Paul O'Neill. I like the pick up for alot of reasons
He has fire and passion and can handle a staff just fine. Martin SUCKED. Are we all forgetting 2012? He was horrible and basically a back up at best. Back up catchers should be able to hit .200 and throw out a few runners. AJ is perfect until our guys mature. Get him. Unless cash has a blockbuster up his sleeve he is the only game out there.
